MicroProfile Health

MicroProfile Health provides a standardized way for applications to expose their health status to external systems, such as Kubernetes, to determine if the application is running properly. It defines health check endpoints that report on various components of an application, allowing for better monitoring and management in cloud-native environments.

MicroProfile Health 4.0 introduces support for asynchronous health checks, allowing applications to perform non-blocking health status evaluations. It also improves the ability to define multiple health checks within the same endpoint, enhancing flexibility for cloud-native health monitoring​
